The best book I have read so far for screenwriting is the Screenplay: The Foundations of Screenwriting by Syd Field
I haven’t read <b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>Screenplay: The Foundations of Screenwriting by Syd Field yet. But I would love to read it because you always recommend good books! 😀
I read Syd Field’s Screenplay book many moons ago, I learnt so much from it.🙂
I studied one on one with Syd Field and loved his book.
I also took Robert McKee’s class and his book had some great insights, especially on the difference between European art films and Hollywood movies.
Blake Snyder’s Save The Cat series was very useful (don’t write double-mumbo jumbo!)
Shane Stanley and I like Wells Root’s book Writing The Script.
