Production Stills are a valuable part of a filmmaker's story. They capture moments behind the scenes that become great memories over the years, while the public can see the atmosphere and context in which the crew worked hard to create a great movie.

Student Filmmakers invites all photographers to showcase their Production Stills in an exciting new photo contest!


- Each photographer can enter up to 3 photos
- Start Date: 27'th April 2021
- End Date: 20'th June 2021
- Winners will be announced on the forums on 27'th June 2021
- A panel of staff members will select the winners of the contest based on the following criteria: clarity and quality of the image, composition, impact and technical attributes
- Open to all students, schools, teachers, professors, educators, indies, and professionals.

Each submission must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights of any person or entity.


The first three winners of the "Production Stills Photo Contest 2021" will be featured on the next issue of Student Filmmakers Magazine. They will also receive a licensed copy of "Movie Forms Pro - Interactive".​
Movie Forms Pro - Interactive contains 110 production forms that can ease the paperwork. The software includes: Releases, Agreements, Storyboards, Production Signage, Government Forms, Copyright Forms, Deal Memos and Forms for every production department.
Movie Forms Pro Interactive is a compilation of standard production forms and signage used throughout the Motion Picture, Film and Video industries. Movie Forms Pro forms are designed to support all phases of production. From pre-production, production to post, Movie Forms Pro contains all the forms needed to do a professional job.

The "Production Stills Photo Contest 2021" is open to all Photographers, regardless of their level of experience or the camera they are using. This includes students, independent photographers and professionals that use DSLR Cameras, Mirrorless Cameras, Compact Cameras, 360 Cameras, Smartphone cameras etc.​

Terms & Conditions:

1. Participants must register their original work to the contest and they need to be the rightful owners to the content they have used.

2. We do not allow entries containing X-rated content into our contest.

3. Participants must provide a valid e-mail address, where they can be reached if further details are needed.

4. Participants must read and agree to the “Terms and Conditions” before they submit their entries to the “Production Stills Photo Contest 2021” contest.

5. By submitting your photo to this contest, you give us permission to further use, publish and use your photo on our website and in our magazine. All photos of any person must have the permission of that person (or parent/legal guardian) authorizing the contest entry and the rights set forth above for use of the photo. By entering our contest, you give us and our sponsors permission to use the details that you are willingly providing us in your entry form. We may contact you via email to request further details. By entering your photos to our contest, you give us full rights to use it. You also give us and our sponsors full rights and permission to use your photos in Digital Media, streaming and video and all other media and promotional content.
