Where has the time gone? I remember seeing the ad for the site in American Cinematographer magazine like it was a day ago!
In terms of my animation work I guess it breaks down something like this:
3D Modelling & Animation takes place in Cheetah 3D. A Mac only app it represents great...
Hi Kim and all
Nice to see the forum's retro spring clean.
I'm still working away; got a new animation project underway.
I recently attended a series of great Animation Workshops run by Northern Ireland Screen: fascinating stuff. There's so much I recognise I don't know but I hope I never...
I've just discovered that vimeo embed videos have compatibility problems on certain browsers.
The vid is also available directly here:
Sorry for any frustration this may have caused.
It's been a long time coming but my animated vid, Here To Go, is finally ready for viewing.
Inspired by the hero's journey from world mythology, it's an experimental, punk fairytale:
It can be seen here:
Hopefully you can see the flashing or popping of a residual after image in the clip.
It's a result of the clashing of colours and compositions I've used. I just wondered if there would be a way to manipulate and turn it down.
Here's stills in sequence from the scene causing the bother.

The web host claimed there was a dos attack on the server. I suppose too many people accessing the clip in too short a time frame could also be responsible.
BTW, I got accepted to study Film at degree level at Queen's, Belfast.
I'm really sorry about this and I know it has happened before with a previous clip of mine but I'm going to have to remove this clip due to an unfortunate set of circumstances.
A replacement clip has been uploaded:
It has come to my attention that this vid was blocked to those who tried to view it after initial posting. That's what you get for trying to be clever. This has now been corrected, here:
I apologize for any...
