In these story ideas, what is the flaw in the protagonist? Because that is what the audience subconsciously craves. Without a flaw in the protagonist, you have no story.

In Casablanca, the protagonist has a flaw. Same thing for The Graduate, Monsters, Inc, Superman, Batman, Citizen Kane, Inception, Barbie, etc.

The character flaw is the fuel for the plot. Without the flaw, the story just sits there, going nowhere.
