    Ok, I got it...
    here's what you do.

    First...
Go to the "View" menu... then select "Split Vertically"

Then click on the left side viewing page to select that side...

    Next...
Go to the "View" menu and select either "Index Card" or "Navigator"

Whichever you choose is going to be a personal preference thing...

    Anyways...
    hope this helps you out.

    Happy Writing!

I'm trying to split the screen into two... on the left side a list of every new scene, like a table of contents so I can just click to go to that scene (as displayed on the inside of the box). On the right side I would like to have the area where I can keep writing the current sceen that I am on.

Hmm... I'm not sure exactly what you might be asking here...

if you want your script to look like a book, one page on each half of the screen...
    go to the view menu
then move the mouse down to "Split Vertically" and select that.

Um... if that dosen't quite accomplish what you're looking for...
I'll keep lookin... but that's all I've got at the moment.
