When: November 11, 2018 – December 12, 2018 (Wednesdays)
Cinematography is known as the art of motion-picture photography. It is a science in which the use of controllable elements such as movement, visual composition and the nature of lighting are factored in. In this advanced camera techniques course, students will shoot camera drills, gain insight on numerous technical setups and solve technical issues. Students will also practice and gain knowledge on two-camera set-up, using a dolly, operating a steady cam and best practices for green and blue screens. A director of photography (DP) guest speaker will also be in attendance for one class.
