Join Band Pro Film & Digital on Wednesday 5/25/2016 for a free Canon New Technology Workshop at Band Pro’s Burbank HQ. A full array of new Canon cinematography tools will be here and available for hands on testing. Canon expert Alex Sax will give a presentation on the new Canon 18-80 Compact Servo Zoom, and Canon HDR Specialist David Doko will present on the new Canon DP-V2410 4K HDR Reference Monitor. Hands on time will start at 11:00 AM, with the Technical Presentations beginning at 2:00 PM.

CANON DP-V2410 4K REFERENCE DISPLAY
The Canon DP-V2410 24-inch 4K Reference Display is designed to be used on-set though finishing and quality control for cinema and broadcast production. It features a 4096 x 2160 wide viewing angle IPS Panel with a contrast ratio of 2000:1 and an aspect ratio of 17:9 that meets all cinema and television standards. A Canon-designed RGB LED backlight system and specially developed high-bit depth image processing engine helps ensure highly uniform brightness and color. The DP-V2410 supports the Broadcast UHD standard ITU-R BT.2020. It can internally Debayer the Canon Cinema EOS 4K RAW signal output for direct display while looping this signal to an external recorder. It internally supports ACES 1.0 workflow and ACESproxy when used with any other camera that supports ACESproxy. Weighing approximately 26lbs., the DP-V2410 offers superb mobility in a sleek design that includes handles and adjustable feet.
