Here and There is a surreal, experimental piece.
It follows Adrift as the second installment in a developmental series based on James?perception of reality and his inability to confront the past, present, and future.
Here and There was an Official Selection at Aurora's International Extremely Shorts 7 Film Festival.

Here and There was shot with one Canon XL1 MiniDV camcorder, and one Canon GL2 MiniDV camcorder.
Here and There was edited on a Power Mac G4, with Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Photoshop.

Jacob Mason is currently attending San Jacinto
College, South Campus, Houston, TX, and is the Founder and Presiding Student Officer of The Motion Picture Arts Society for the San Jacinto College District.

As a writer, director, DV cinematographer, editor, actor, and composer/SFX, Jacob has managed to quickly utilize various creative channels to produce works of art that are uniquely crafted, and expressive of his imagination.

At this point, Jacob has completed three short DV films, RED RUBBER BALL, ADRIFT, and, HERE AND THERE.
He is also developing more material for future productions through Slight of Eye and Digigenic, and continues to further his studies in the field of digital media, motion picture arts, and social sciences.


Shane Kennedy is currently attending San Jacinto College
South Campus, Houston, TX. and is a member of the Motion Picture Arts Society of SJC.

Studying acting for 4 years, Shane has recently sought to diversify
his skills as a writer, director, editor, and score composer with promising results.

At this point, Shane has completed two short DV films, ADRIFT, and, HERE AND THERE. He is also developing more material in his continued collaboration with Jacob Mason for future productions through Slight of Eye and Digigenic.
Shane continues to further his studies in the field of motion picture arts.
