St. Louis Fed National Economic Education Video Competition

  • 0 Stars.

The St. Louis Fed is sponsoring its National Economic Education Video Competition, and we want your help in teaching an important personal finance lesson — how to manage student loans. How would you — or do you — manage student loan debt? Let us know through your video creation, and you could win a $1,000 I-series savings bond!

The guidelines are simple. As an individual or as part of a team, submit videos no more than five minutes in length. The videos should be geared to a high school-aged audience.

The contest runs Feb. 13 - April 13, 2012. Videos must be submitted to the St. Louis Fed by 5 p.m. (CST) on Friday, April 13, 2012, to be eligible. We'll announce the winners in May.

Prizes will be awarded to the top four videos:

  • First place: $1,000 I-Series U.S. Savings Bond
  • Second place: $750 I-Series U.S. Savings Bond
  • Third place: $500 I-Series U.S. Savings Bond
  • People's Choice: $250 I-Series U.S. Savings Bond

The St. Louis Fed will use your video as part of its economic education program. The video will be posted on the St. Louis Fed's YouTube channel and will be seen by high school students nationwide.

The contest is open to anyone who is 13 or older, is eligible to receive a U.S. savings bond and resides in the United States.

Good luck, and get started!
