Filmmakers always inspire to get their film off the ground and greenlit, but funding can sometimes get in the way.

(Los Angeles, CA) -- On January 23rd, Pitch a new funding platform will launch helping filmmakers all over the U.S. come one step closer in starting, developing or finishing their film. Pitch is a multimedia funding and business plan platform. Pitch provides a place for filmmakers to meet their audience. A place where the up and rising filmmakers or directors or producers have the opportunity to put their story, talents and vision out there to seek interested support. Supporters can contribute financially and/or provide critiques as the filmmakers take the next steps towards completing their first creation.

Funding your film normally doesn't happen by someone donating ten dollars and hoping many people follow the trend to increase your cash pot. In this day in age, the use of technology has helped people achieve their business goals far more expected then imagined. Pitch hopes to build their audience with not only amateur filmmakers or moviegoers, but also professionals who can have a place to go to support and discover new talent and films.

The format of the platform allows the users to accept critiques and make improvements as they move from one level to the next. The audience is very pivotal for filmmakers to learn and broaden their vision further. The audience has a strong role in making the filmmaker a stronger artist in rewriting, re-shooting or restructuring their current film and then moving them forward to their next creation. The process is as much as the adventure as the end result.

Pitch is now accepting project submissions as they move out of beta mode. Thirty projects will be selected at a time, while others go on a wait list until a slot becomes available. The rules and regulations can also be described a bit of a challenging game as time is limited to meet your funding goals to advance to the next level. Pitch is sure to provide a lot of opportunity for new filmmakers in the coming.
