Chamberlain Bros. Announces Student Film Festival

In the Spring of 2005, Chamberlain Bros., an imprint of Penguin
Group (USA), will launch its inaugural student film festival with a book and DVD set highlighting the work of the best and brightest directors of tomorrow.

We are seeking top student productions from the premier film programs in the nation to feature in our publication. Our student film companion will present the work of the top 5-7 applicants (depending on film length) as awarded by our committee. Each selected film will be discussed in the book and featured on an attached DVD, with the filmmaker receiving a $1,000 cash prize.

All entries must include a DVD or VHS transfer of the submitted film along with a two-page biography of the student filmmaker, and must be received by July 1, 2004. In addition, selected students agree to provide Chamberlain Bros. with an hour of their time to be interviewed, and the non-exclusive right to distribute their film on DVD with our book.
