The Georgia State University community shares the deep concern for all victims of Hurricane Katrina, and in particular for the college students, faculty members and their families.
In an effort to help students avoid a break in their education, Georgia State will accept students who can show proof of enrollment at an accredited university or college in the New Orleans area as transient students for the fall semester.
The Georgia State Univesity Student Government Association will help orient these new students to the campus, and through Volunteer GSU we will organize a response as soon as we can travel to the affected area.
