StudentFilmmakers Magazine Announces March 2007 Issue Preview

By StudentFilmmakers.com
posted Feb 21, 2007, 14:40

StudentFilmmakers magazine announces an advance look at its March 2007 Issue. Cinematographer M. David Mullen, ASC writes about camera moves, and when to move the camera and why in his article, "Notes on Camera Movement." Award-winning filmmaker and author, Sheila Curran Bernhard writes on casting documentaries in her article, "Casting Your Documentary." Producer, director and author, Myrl Schreibman writes about understanding actors and the three levels of consciousness in "Understanding Your Actors." Writer Dana Dorrity, who is a professor and teaches media writing, screenwriting and video production classes, writes about 'resolving plot with the story's climax' in "Writing the Third Act."

"This issue marks StudentFilmmakers magazine's 12th issue, coming full circle with our readers and with some of StudentFilmmakers' very wonderful and talented writers whose excellent works debuted in the magazine's premiere issue last April at NAB," comments publisher/editor-in-chief Kim E. Welch. "We also want to welcome StudentFilmmakers magazine's new contributing writers, Melissa Ulto and Brian Liloia."

This issue highlights educational articles on camera movement, casting, and screenwriting, and includes filmmaker spotlights on veteran actor Anthony Hopkins on "Slipstream," which premiered at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival, and playwright/filmmaker/firefighter David Paterson, from "Love, Ludlow" to "Bridge to Terabithia."
