My fellow Americans its that time again! Time to cast your ballots! A Film Blitz ballot that is! And no election year is complete without both parties having their perspective conventions. We at Film Blitz decided to have a convention of our own: The Repugnican Short Film Convention. Our candidates are filmmakers out to raise their political voice. The mantra of the Repugnican Short Film Convention is THE CAMERA IS LOUDER THAN WORDS OR LEAVE NO FILMMAKER BEHIND. Filmmakers ideals are captured on film and projected it on to screen for everyone to see and hear. Their statements are with storyline and characters. The Repugnican Convention Film Festival showcases films with not only political content but also cinematic brilliance.

Michael Moore isnt the only political pundit with cinematic skills. Our festival is loaded with mini Fahrenheit 911s. Selections include The Bronx Independent Film Festival 2004 best film winner The Adventures of Supernigger: Episode 1, The Final Chapter directed by Alrick Brown, Hamptons International best short film 2003 winner Underground directed by Aimee Lagos & Kristin Dehnert and hirlous presidential spoof by Jib Jab Media This Land by Gregg and Evan Spiridellis. These films and more will be featured at the Repugnican Short Film Convention. Time to cast your vote for the winning film or the film that speaks the loudest. Come and enjoy the Film Blitz.
