WMC LLC donates a broadcasting license, technology and control of five 24-hour broadcast channels to HSFA, an IRS certified 501(c)(3) established for public safety, energy and health and human services. HSFA is gearing up to donate air time and software to qualifying non-profits, schools and government agencies.

(Atlanta, GA) HSFA, a public, non-profit agency, and WMC, a multi-channel IPTV provider, announced WMC has pledged more than $1.5 million to HSFA. The grant will be used to establish the HSTV Network primarily to give non-profits greater access to the public. Under the terms of the 5-year grant award, HSFA will receive a minimum of $300,000 in annual donations including a Master Broadcasting License Agreement, control of five 24-hour channels, plus software and services. HSFA has also been granted the right to offer broadcast air time to qualifying non-profit organizations, schools and government agencies nationwide.

"Our Wisecast TV platform is groundbreaking," said Brian Joubert, Chief Financial Officer, WMC LLC. "We've already proven its commercial appeal even before our official launch in October. We want to lead by example and make a strong commitment to the non-profit sector early on--even in this economy. Now's the time to invest in the future of public access TV, and we're doing all we can to ensure Wisecast is an invaluable tool for the public."

Wisecast Television, a multi-channel broadcasting platform, leverages broadband for 24-hour digital broadcasting worldwide with full HD, On-Demand, DVR and Pay-Per-View with no monthly fees. The HSTV Network will showcase a public awareness channel lineup, which will include the XPLORE Channel, XPLORE Safety, Green Power TV, XPLORE Health, NPO Spotlight, and the Children's Safety Network.

HSFA officials say they'll extend broadcasting resources to local, state and Federal agencies and political candidates for the 2012 election. These organizations will receive broadcast time and have the ability to offer the Wisecast TV software at no cost to their staff, volunteers, and supporters.

"At HSFA we're committed to our mission and equally passionate about building awareness through public campaigns," said Matthew Anthes, Chairman, Public Safety Committee, HSFA. "This HSTV network of channels is a powerful tool we can use to reach out and give the public free, open access to life-saving programming and information about how they can help keep their neighborhoods safe. We're actively seeking sponsors to support our new public service channels with donated resources, expertise and tax-deductible contributions."

The HSTV lineup will introduce several new shows for 2012, including "Stronger Community," a talk show featuring professional storm chaser Eddy Weiss that takes a look at responder safety, home safety, disaster preparedness education, and current disaster events.

"It's very exciting to be a part of all this," said Eddy Weiss, Chasing4life founder and host of the upcoming Stronger Community talk show on Wisecast TV. "On Stronger Community, we'll unfold stories on emergency management issues we see all around the country. We'll have interviews with firefighters, homeowners, corporate executives, safety educators and more and together we will XPLORE how to make American communities stronger."

The Homeland Security Foundation of America (HSFA) is a public, non-profit agency certified as tax-exempt under IRC 501(c)(3) with 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) status. Its mission is to advance Homeland Security while preserving Americans' civil liberties through life-saving public safety, energy security and health and human services programs.
