(Vancouver, B.C.) Vancouver Film School, Canadas premier post-secondary entertainment arts institution and one of the most distinguished in the world, has struck a strategic alliance with Ayogo Games, Inc., the Vancouver-based social gaming studio known as leaders in the movement to transform health care through the use of games and play. VFSs talented Digital Design students will now have the opportunity to launch their careers at the award-winning studio that was named Hottest Digital Media Company in Canada by NextMedia.

We are constantly working to evolve the Digital Design program to be relevant by partnering with companies that are on trend and share our passion for creating meaningful experiences, says Miles Nurse, Head of Digital Design. The Ayogo Games, Inc. Post-Graduate Internship Program provides our students with an amazing opportunity to work with a local, grassroots gaming company. Students will be exposed to an entrepreneurial, cross-media environment, where they will be able to practice and refine their craft in the heart of Vancouvers growing design community.

The one-year Digital Design program provides students with a comprehensive education in the rapidly evolving world of digital media. Students from each of the three graduating classes per year will have the opportunity to apply. Each intern will be assigned a mentor based on his/her background and role in the company, with ongoing guidance and mentoring by Ayogo Games, Inc. Creative Director, Jesse Spink. Graduates now have the opportunity to work with Ayogo Games, Inc. in a rapidly expanding market, crafting gaming experiences designed to create positive social and personal change.

Were really excited to announce the launch of our internship program with the Digital Design program. Weve had a great experience working with and hiring students from VFS in the past and it seemed like a logical next step to better align ourselves with both the school and the program, says Spink. We have some really exciting projects in the works that span the spectrum of social, mobile, online communities and games. These projects, like our company, require people with a broad range of talent as well as specialist abilities and thats exactly the kind of people we seeing coming out of VFS. Watch for some exciting new things to come.

Ayogo Games, Inc. is an active partner in promoting Vancouvers vibrant game industry, and is regularly on the lookout for talent within the local community. This internship initiative with VFS furthers builds upon Ayogos goals of finding fresh creative minds, and giving them the opportunity and challenge to do their best work; work that is as creative and challenging as it is meaningful.

Vancouver Film School is constantly exploring ways to stay in tune with the needs of the industry by nurturing special relationships with organizations such as Ayogo Games, Inc. Other industry relationships include the Brian Wood Memorial Internship with Relic Entertainment.
