Vaddio featured their robotic PTZ cameras at the G&G Technologies Broadcasters Show.

HD pan/tilt/zoom cameras - ideal for broadcast, audiovisual and videoconferencing environments.

Vaddio's ClearVIEW HD-19 and HD-19W high definition integrated robotic PTZ camera features a 19x optical zoom lens and is built around a 1/3-Type Exmor high-speed, low noise CMOS image sensor with a total of 1.3 Megapixels producing precise and vibrant HD color video images. Integrated SmartSHOT technology with AIP (Adjustable Image Processing) provides end user control of advanced imaging DSP (Digital Signal Processor) functions. The DSP functions allow the camera operator the ability to deliver an extremely crisp detailed image with vibrant high definition color.

Using an increased pixel aperture size, high frame rate, high signal to noise, and column-parallel A/D conversion method, the detail and sensitivity of the sensor are increased and noise is diminished. Minimum illumination is rated at 0.7 LUX.

The ClearVIEW HD-18W comes equipped with a 1/3˝, 1.3 megapixel CCD imaging sensor, a glass multi-element wide dynamic zoom lens (18x optical), a tally light and a 1.8-lux rating, providing superior images in a wide range of high-definition video applications.

The HD-18 is the only multi-format PTZ camera that delivers component HD in 1080p, 1080i or 720p and simultaneous SD video. Control runs via VISCA command protocol or the IR remote that is supplied. High-torque, micro-stepper precision robotics enhance performance with smooth pan/tilt operation for accurate camera movement and control. The HD-18 is compatible with any Polycom or TANDBERG videoconferencing codec.

The EVI-HD1 camera combines a high-quality HD color video camera with the flexibility of remote pan/tilt/zoom operation. With 14 formats to choose from (including eight HD types and six SD video formats), this new dynamic camera allows end-users to decide when they are ready to migrate from SD to HD.

The EVI-HD1 is compatible today with existing videoconferencing systems and will be compatible tomorrow with HD based ones. It also inherits many outstanding features from the EVI-D100 PTZ camera and couples these with superb HD picture quality. Smooth, high-speed pan/tilt operation, 16x9 aspect ratio images and a built-in 10x optical zoom/wide angle lens, make the EVI-HD1 ideal for small to medium size conference rooms.
