Award recognises innovation in camera equipment. (Verneuil sur Avre, France) Transvideo, a leading company in electronic design for the film, video and avionics industries, is delighted to have won a prestigious cinecAward for its CineMonitorHD 3DView monitor, the world’s first HD SDI monitor with synchroniser for 3D D-Cinema field use. The award was presented at cinec 2010, held in Munich 18-20 September 2010. Just six cinecAwards are presented by the Bavarian Society for the Advancement of Film Technology (FGF), for innovative and trendsetting products for motion picture technology. Transvideo won the Camera Equipment award. Jacques Delacoux, President and Managing Director, Transvideo, said, “We are proud and delighted to have won this prestigious award. Transvideo is constantly monitoring trends and developments in the motion picture industry, and planning ahead to create tools to aid content creators. As the nascent 3D industry really begins to flourish, we already have a monitor that 3D stereographers can trust, with the functions they need.” The CineMonitorHD 3DView is currently being used by Wim Wenders and Alain Derobe
on the forthcoming feature film Pina, as well as several other movies around
the world, including Harold & Kumar and Darkest Hour.
