Jarret Berenstein, the man behind the award winning "Boosh Kla-Klau" and mini-viral sensation "Sex and the City for Dudes," returns to the Magnet Theater this May for a four show run of his latest project, The New Job Show.

After the success of his solo-sketch show "Boosh Kla-Klau," which won Best Solo Show at the LA Comedy Festival and was a Time Out NY Critic's Pick, comedian Jarret Berenstein has put together a brand new show chronicling the misadventures of trying to change jobs. Similar to Boosh Kla-Klau in it's presentation, The New Job Show is told via a slide projector and covers the different avenues a comedian takes to try and get work, from the more traditional stand up and sketch to the weird and ill-advised publicity stunts and web-comics.

About Jarret Berenstein

Jarret Berenstein is a New York based writer, comedian and short film producer. Since moving to the city in 2001 he has performed and developed comedy in a variety of mediums, focusing at times on either improv, sketch or stand up. He has been featured as Time Out NY's Joke of the Week and has performed at venues all over the country including the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, the Philly Sketch Fest and Portland's Bridgetown Comedy Festival.

"A great writer with a lot of crisp jokes." - Matthew Love, comedy editor of Time Out NY.

About The New Job Show

Unlike the individual sketches that made up his last endeavor, The New Job Show follows the story of Jarret Berenstein and his various attempts to get a new job. Starting with naive, half-baked ideas like blogging his reaction to Dawson's Creek Season 3, and moving through his life as a stand up and writer, The New Job Show brings us up to present day and all of Jarret's current projects.

When: Fridays in May at 7pm (10th, 17th, 24th and 31st)

Where: Magnet Theater 254 W. 29th Street
