Film, The BedroomSonya Dunn's highly acclaimed film will screen at the 2012 LA Femme International Film Festival.

(Washington, DC) Director/Writer Sonya Dunn will screen her latest film The Bedroom at the 2012 LA Femme International Film Festival.  The festival will take place October 11 - 14, 2012 in Los Angeles, California.

Currently, the film has a growing domestic and international fan base (over 7, 000 fans worldwide on Facebook) anticipating its official release date for public viewing.

The Bedroom is about one of the most sacred rooms in any intimate relationship - the bedroom.  A couple's shared euphoric dreams of life together intersect with the bittersweet realities of marriage.  This tragic love story of everlasting love through adversity and twisted fate culminates in 'The Bedroom'. 

Sonya Dunn said, "The struggle to remain intimate and connected within a relationship is a universal message."

Sonya Dunn is the founder of JEMH Communications and Dunn Deal Studios.  She is an award-winning writer, producer and director for films, cable and online programming.  Currently, her companies have over six projects for series and features in different stages of production including two fiction transmedia projects – 'Byker Chyckz' and 'Testify'.  Dunn is also a national columnist.

LA Femme International Film Festival is the creation of veteran media executive Leslie La Page.  This will mark the 8th year for this festival. LA Femme International Film Festival is a multiethnic and multicultural film festival devoted to empowering women in key positions creating commercially viable entertainment productions.  The goal of the festival is to celebrate emerging female filmmakers and promote their artistic visions to wider audiences.

Ms. La Page said, "After more than a decade of working as a producer in the industry, I have wanted to create a forum in which our stars of tomorrow could be championed."
