(Vancouver, BC) Vancouver Film School (VFS), Canadas premier entertainment arts institution and one of the most distinguished worldwide, is welcoming emerging and future professionals from all over the world starting this July for a series of week-long Summer Intensives in Vancouver, BC.

The 2012 Summer Intensives are open to anyone 17 years of age or older and have grown into an international incubator for creative minds. Last summer nearly 200 talented students from 10 different countries took part, from France and Israel to Costa Rica and Australia.

Past students have described their week at VFS as the experience of a lifetime. The Summer Intensives provide aspiring artists, animators, designers, writers, actors, and filmmakers who are thinking about joining VFS full-time the chance to try its world-renowned entertainment arts programs for themselves, learn from top VFS faculty, and come away with industry knowledge, hands-on experience, and meaningful insight into what a one-year full-time program at VFS can offer them and their career.

The cost of a Summer Intensive is applied to a students tuition should they enroll in a full-time program at VFS.
