NAMM 2012: January 19-22, 2012, Anaheim, California

(Anaheim, CA) Sony Electronics' full line of professional audio technology -- ranging from portable audio recorders to wireless and wired microphone technology to headphones – will be on display at Winter NAMM (Booth # 6214).

Sony's digital recorders – the PCM-M10, PCM-D1 and PCM-D50 digital field recorders -- are designed to faithfully capture live performances and events, including the most subtle of performance nuances. They can be used for high-quality recording in an array of applications, including live sound, houses of worship and theatrical performance, as well as by journalists in the field.

Sony's line-up of professional PCM Series recorders offer attractive features including: durable construction, 96 kHz/24-bit recording, built-in electret condenser stereo microphones, 4 GB of flash memory, PC/MAC file transfer via high-speed USB interface and user-friendly operation.

Sony's full line of wireless systems includes the DWX Series, as well as the UWP Series of UHF synthesized wireless microphones. These systems are designed for stable audio reception and interference-free multi-channel operation in news-gathering, AV presentations, entertainment, live event, and corporate applications. Sony's pro audio group also offers electret condenser and shotgun microphones.

Sony's professional headphones are designed to meet the monitoring needs of front-of-house (FOH) and studio engineers, musicians and other audio professionals working with high-resolution digital audio recording and playback equipment.

Sony's newest models include two new studio headphones (MDR-7520 and MDR-7510) and one in-ear system (MDR-7550). The new headphones are engineered to deliver strength, comfort and practicality to users in recording studio and live sound applications. Designed to accurately monitor the wide dynamic range and extended frequencies delivered by modern digital audio equipment, the new models in the series are precision-manufactured using the highest grade materials such as gold-plated Unimatch™ 3.5mm/6.3mm adaptors, and perfectly meet the needs of users.

Son's full line of audio technology is designed to meet an array of professional sound and recording requirements. Stop by Sony's Winter NAMM booth for a tour, and for more information, visit www.sony.com/proaudio.
