SONY CREATIVE SOFTWARE SET TO ANNOUNCE WINNERS OF "TECHNOLOGY IN MOTION 2" CONTEST AT NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL COMPUTING CONFERENCE

Top Three Winners To Receive $400,000 In Video Software and Hardware Prizes At Special Awards Ceremony

WHO: Sony Creative Software, a leading provider of professional video and audio editing software applications.

WHAT: Technology in Motion 2: Community of the Future contest winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony at the National Education Computing Conference. Technology in Motion is a complete educational program designed for teachers to engage middle and high school students using the tools and techniques of professional video and audio production. Under the Community of the Future theme, students shared their vision of how technology will shape their community in the years to come.

Each qualifying school received a Technology in Motion launch kit that included a free copy of Vegas® Pro video editing software, Cinescore™ soundtrack creation software, video tutorials, 1,001 royalty-free sound effects and themes and a Digital Video & Audio Production teaching guide, all by Sony®.

Out of 1400 schools enrolled in the program, a panel of expert judges selected 28 entries, from which three top films were placed online for public voting to determine final ranking. The prize packages to be awarded to grand, second and third place winners include over $400,000 retail value of Sony hardware and software products. For additional contest details, please visit www.techinmotioncontest.com.

WHEN: Monday, June 29, 2009. Begins at 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
