(Los Angeles, CA) - Steph Gold (also known as The Mad Musician) and company are proud to announce the release of The Sun in 3D, a short film music video starring Steph Gold, celebrity dance instructor Jaclyn Betham, Bryan McGowan (Cinemaxs Chemistry), and directed by C. Romano (formerly known as Christy Carlson Romano), best known for her starring role opposite Shia LaBeouf on Disneys Even Stevens.

"Working with Steph was one of the most rewarding artistic experiences I have had in my career," said Romano, of the project. "He is a true artist that is in tune with his vision and enables everyone to grow along with him. I have never seen a star more ready to shine for the greater good of this industry."

Based on a true story, The Sun is the story of a young artists journey, from being homeless on the streets to becoming a rock star. It begins with Gold as a penniless musician that must ask a stranger for money at the bus stop. The girl, whose name turns out to be Faith, inspires a cathartic, musical journey from the inner city to the mountain top. Along the way, he encounters his nemesis, portrayed as a scorpion, which he eventually eats alive as a pop performance that is unlike any other.

Choreography for this dark pop video was done by Andre Fuentes. Fuentes has choreographed and danced with some of the biggest artists in the industry, including Britney Spears, Prince, Beyonce and more. His television and commercial credits include the VMAs, Billboard Music Awards, Academy Awards, and more.

Ive been dreaming of the video for this song for a long time. Its an honest portrayal of my coming of age after moving to Los Angeles and finding my place here. It was never about how people would receive it, it was always about staying true to the message of the song, says Steph Gold about The Sun. I wrote this song from an incredibly vulnerable place, where the sun represented my freedom. When coupled with faith, anything was possible.

At the time of writing this press release, The Sun in 3D has received over 12,000 YouTube plays in six days.
