Raging Bull II filming began June 4. The multi-talented Martin Guigui is directing. Not only does Guigui direct and write, but he is also a composer following in the footsteps of his famous father, Efrain Guigui, Symphony Orchestra Conductor.

Raging Bull 2 combines both a prequel as well as a sequel to satisfy those fans who wonder about Jake LaMotta�s past and where he is now.

Although Guigui has attempted to climb a large mountain since Raging Bull is considered a landmark film for Martin Scorcese, Guigui has gotten personally involved in every step including co-writing the script and live casting rather than solely relying on casting agents or videos of actors. In addition, Guigui is assisted by Dahlia Weingort, a talented, hands-on producer also attending live casting calls in their combined effort to make this film the best that it can be.

As many indie budgeted films have left LA, Guigui has brought casting and filming back to Los Angeles all within a reasonable $7M budget.

Famed actors have come aboard such as William Forsythe, Joe Mantegna, Penelope Ann Miller, Natasha Henstridge, Tom Sizemore, Paul Sorvino, Robert Davi, Alicia Witt, Bill Bellamy, James Russo, Courtney Gains, Harry Hamlin, Bruce Davison, Ray Wise, Mike Starr, Juliet Landau

It appears that Guigui's attention to detail may pay off and a long awaited sequel may be what audiences crave.
