(Las Vegas, NV) Imagine Products, Inc. is pleased to announce a new and improved version of their popular ProxyMillTM application for Macintosh.

ProxyMill is a simple-to-use transcoding application. Directly convert any camera original HD media into watermarked, sharable movies with burned in timecode in a single step. Loaded with popular Preset Compression Settings for iPad, iPhone, MPEG-4, etc.

New in V4.0:

New GUI: The retooled interface simplifies output selection and monitoring.

Customize Output by Type: All clip creations are now PreSet based so you can select just what you want and where you want it saved. For example, compress low resolution H.264 movies to a web folder while outputting ProRes files with FCP XML tags to your editing project folder.

Faster Processing! Full 64-bit multi-threaded processing utilizes your computer's potential on all cores and CPU power to finish in record time.

Four channel Audio: Now you can retain individual audio tracks, up to four channels, regardless of output type. XDCam users will find ProxyMill is the perfect tool to "up-res" for the editor while at the same time making burned-in timecode and watermarked web quality clips for logging and offline editing purposes.

Seamless Integration: Behind the scenes, ProxyMill has been reworked to pass information between Imagine's suite of applications for a smooth, integrated user experience of offloading, previewing and archiving.

New iPad Push: With ProxyMill v4 you can output proxies directly to your iPad for immediate review or daily rushes. Or, let ProxyMill upload to Imagine's new PreRollPost (TM) web server for secure, connection based viewing.

ProxyMill™ works with a number of media formats including QuickTime and camera originals such as Canon, Panasonic, RED, Sony XDCam and more. Just select the media type and “Watch Folder”, or Drag and Drop HD volumes into the queue.

Selectable compression settings and codecs allow output of multiple formatted clips at the same time, such as edit quality QuickTime files and lower resolution proxies for the web or sharing with clients. Create FCP XML files of any HD material ready for direct opening in the editor.

Automatically merge clips. Stitch together camera spanned clips, or simply folders of video files, for smooth consolidated playback but with original timecode tracks.
