(Las Vegas, NV) - Players Network (OTC-QB Bulletin Board: PNTV) announced today that it is in production on its first Feature Film Documentary. "The Last Showgirl" celebrates the sexy entertainment icons who strutted across Las Vegas' stages wearing miniscule, bangled costumes, and massive, feathered headdresses. These beautiful, statuesque women were literally the symbol of Las Vegas for five decades. But in recent years they have faded away, a cliche more than the flesh and blood women who helped grow Las Vegas into the Entertainment Capital of the World.

"The Last Showgirl" begins with the closing of Les Follies Bergere after 29,000 performances at the Tropicana Hotel, just weeks shy of its 50th anniversary. In her exclusive interview for "The Last Showgirl", Barbara Walters recalls how her father Lou Walters brought the Follies from Paris to Las Vegas in 1959, and how the show launched the careers of stars such as Lance Burton and Siegfried and Roy.

Dozens of Showgirls have been interviewed about their Vegas experiences dancing topless on stage, then partying all night with mobsters, millionaires and movie stars. "The Last Showgirl" is an insightful, sexy look back at the alluring, sensual history of Las Vegas through the recollections of bewitching women known as "Vegas Showgirls".

Mark Bradley, Players Network's CEO and Executive Producer of "The Last Showgirl" states, "We have nearly completed principal photography on 'The Last Showgirl' and are into postproduction. We're excited to be expanding Players Network's entertainment profile from Television and New Media, to Feature Films, both scripted and documentary. We plan to enter 'The Last Showgirl' in Film Festivals, and explore multiple distribution channels."

Michael Berk, Players Network's Chief Creative Officer and writer of the hit movie "Soul Surfer", adds, "Vegas Showgirls are fantasy figures of a bygone era. With 'The Last Showgirl' the audience will be taken beyond the fantasy to experience what it was actually like to be a Showgirl when the mob ran Vegas, when the Rat Pack ruled the night, and when being a beautiful woman opened doors you weren't sure you should go through."
