PBS Programs Receive Two Peabody Awards

On March 27, the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication announced winners for the 72nd Annual Peabody Awards for the best in electronic media for 2012. PBS programs received two awards for WHY POVERTY? and INDEPENDENT LENS “Summer Pasture.” The awards will be presented during a ceremony on May 20 at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York.
