On Campus News
Jenny Robert's film, "The Pedicab Driver," was recently selected and featured at the Athens International Film and Video Festival this year. Growing up in Pocomoke, a small town in Maryland, Jenny was surrounded by field hockey & drama. These influences brought her to Monmouth University, where she played field hockey & began an education in television production. Jenny was a sports reporter for Hawk TV News, the Production Director for Hawk TV, and co-created & produced “M-You,” where students shared their personal stories; becoming more than a face in the MU crowd. Making her first film in a documentary course, Jenny began to realize her passion. Entertaining affection for both narrative & documentary filmmaking, Jenny is directing two films this year, a short narrative entitled “Beggars” and a personal documentary to be shot in the Grand Canyon.
