NAB Show and Telly Awards Team Up for Inaugural Telly Hall of Fame Event

Awards celebrate more than 30 years of Telly excellence.

The NAB Show and Telly Awards will co-host the inaugural Telly Awards Hall of Fame event on Wednesday, April 14 at the NAB Show in Las Vegas. Three past Telly Award winners who have consistently created outstanding video content that exemplifies excellence and the spirit of the awards will be honored and inducted into the Telly Awards Hall Fame at a reception held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

"With the NAB Show established as the world's largest gathering of traditional and digital media professionals, it's a natural fit for our kick-off Hall of Fame event," said Linda Day, Telly Awards executive director. "We look forward to honoring and celebrating the accomplishments of our inductees and are thrilled to partner with the NAB Show for this exciting event."

About the Telly Awards
For more than three decades Telly Awards have honored outstanding video content made for a variety of mediums including television, non-broadcast and the Web. Recognizing excellence throughout the film, video and television industry, the Telly Award is one of the most sought-after honors for traditional and emerging forms of video production.

To build on the excitement surrounding the Hall of Fame event, Telly Awards is hosting a Twitter contest in which contestants submit a one minute or less video telling why they should be selected to attend the NAB Show. Winners will receive airfare to the 2010 NAB Show, two conference passes and two invitations to the Telly Awards Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
