Earlier in his career, Hemms played for a funk/rock band that opened for famous acts such as Little Feat and Hootie and the Blowfish. Later, Hemms became the lead guitarist for Christian hard rock band Hope's Anchor, and then went solo in early 2011,” added Bielenberg.

“Most of the tracks in this collection are the result of a deep desire to connect,” said Raymond Hemms. “I felt really compelled to produce music that made connections with people-- like sitting around in coffee shops and being with friends.
