"In A Perfect World... has made this a perfect year," said Hilson, who co-penned most of the songs on the album and first made a name for herself behind the scenes as a rare female African-American songwriter. "I feel truly honored and blessed to be included alongside so many talented artists."

Produced by Timbaland, Polow Da Don, Danja, and others, In A Perfect World... was released in March and debuted #4 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The single "Knock You Down" reached #3 Hot 100 and #1 R&B/Hip-Hop and won the Soul Train Award for Best Collaboration.; "Turnin' Me On" (featuring Lil Wayne) peaked at #15 Hot 100 and #2 R&B/Hip-Hop. The album also helped Hilson earn a pair of nominations from the American Music Awards--Favorite Female Artist (Soul/R&B) and Soul/R&B Breakthrough Artist.

The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will be held Sunday, January 31, 2010, at Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live on CBS from 8-11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
