(Los Angeles) Athletic actress Celeste Thorson joins Neil Patrick Harris (Starship Troopers / Harold & Kumar) and Colette Wolf (Hot Tub Time Machine / 17 Again) in the "Zoo or False" episode of " How I Met Your Mother ".
"It was an honor to work with the cast and crew of How I Met Your Mother," says Thorson. "It was tough to keep a straight face around Neil Patrick Harris, he's such a talented comedian."
Celeste Thorson stars in the TV series, "Destination X", leading a team of thrill seekers on a wild ride through paradise. From rappelling, to swimming with sharks, season one explores Hawaii, and extreme outdoor sports. Season two ventures to California with exotic cars and military jets. "Destination X" airs prime time on one of Direct TV's newest travel networks, the Resorts and Residence channel, and the MavTV channel broadcasting to Dish Network, Comcast, and Time Warner Cable.
"I'm very passionate about travel so it's exciting to share my adventures on Destination X and give the Resorts & Residence channel a shot of adrenaline," Thorson jokes.
Asian American actress Celeste Thorson began her career appearing in commercials for clients like Sprint, Reebok, and Samsung. Thorson then starred in "Room Nine" which was screened at the Hollywood Film Festival and PictureStart Film Festival where she was nominated for Best Actress.
Aside from acting, Celeste Thorson has also written 24 episodes of television. From magazine cover girl to award winning international model, Thorson has appeared in campaigns for Body Glove, Nokia, and many others. From Japan to South Korea, Thorson made her mark in Asia on billboards and television shows like the Asia Model Festival Awards. She enjoys political activism and promotes several charitable organizations.
