(LAS VEGAS) Hive Lighting presented its new line of Plasma light technology for film, television, and new media production, making lights energy-efficient without compromises. The company unveiled their entire product line at NAB 2012.

Hive Lighting was recently featured in Forbes for their commitment to bringing green technology to Hollywood. CEO Robert Rutherford spoke with Lori Kozlowski of Forbes and said, "We quite literally want to change the way movies, TV, and emerging new content is lit. We know that a lot of green tech products are not adopted because they don't look quite right. But Hive Lighting is about saving energy without sacrificing light output and quality. If every light in Hollywood was replaced, Hive's lights could reduce 35,000 to 60,000 metric tons of air pollution from the Los Angeles Metro Area — the rough equivalent of removing 15,000 to 25,000 cars from L.A. roads each year."
