Getty Images recognizes GSA for superb visual quality and ecologically sound practices. (Los Angeles) GreenScreen Animals, the Los Angeles-based stock footage company, today announced its HD stock footage animal content is now distributed by Getty Images, the world's leading creator and distributor of visual and digital media content. This distribution partnership will enable producers and filmmakers to readily access compelling footage of highly trained and visually dynamic animals shot against green screen. "We are delighted to partner with Getty Images to increase access to GreenScreen Animals' unique HD content," said Westley Koenen, co-founder of GreenScreen Animals. "Through this partnership, our customers can obtain high-quality footage at a fraction of the price of on-site shooting, with the added benefit of no stress or risk to the animal." GreenScreen Animals' footage is shot in an HD green screen to minimize the stress to the animals. The stock footage includes trained lions, zebras, bears, black panthers, porcupines, elephants, reindeer and more – all of which are filmed in a safe environment. Using green screen technology, customers can separate the animal from the background to be incorporated into any video project. "The partnership with GreenScreen Animals will expand our offering of animal footage," said Jamie DiVenere, Director of Creative Services at Getty Images. "We're always looking for ways to improve our customer experience, and GreenScreen Animals offers high-quality HD footage that blends technology, art and nature."
