(PARIS) Midem first-timers Kevin Roberts of Saatchi & Saatchi, Grammy Award-winning artist and producer Mark Ronson, The Coca-Cola Company's Wendy Clark and German artist, DJ and producer Paul van Dyk, have joined the prestigious roster of confirmed participants for the first edition of midem Visionary Monday, on January 30, in Cannes.

Visionary Monday provides midem delegates with access to a host of forward thinkers for a day of high-octane, conferences, discussions, presentations and data exchange focussing on audience engagement. Subjects that will be covered range from how artists, can benefit from digital innovation, building brand loyalty through music, and using digital opportunities to generate new revenues. Visionary Monday will also see the announcement of the weekend's flagship competitions including midemlab and the midem Marketing Campaign Competition.

Kevin Roberts, CEO Worldwide, Saatchi & Saatchi will start proceedings with Visionary Monday's opening keynote address. "I love music. It's the greatest human connector," says Kevin Roberts. "Music is the shortcut to the heart. It's communication, entertainment, engagement, and emotion. Music is about love. The world is full of inspirational sounds, songs, and singers, whether they are well-known, breaking through, undiscovered, or in the archive. I'm looking forward to presenting at midem in Cannes in January 2012, where I'll be talking about the opportunities for marketers to build loyalty beyond reason for their brands through music, to turn their brands into Lovemarks by exciting the senses."

Famed British artist and Grammy Award-winning producer of Amy Winehouse Mark Ronson will take part in Visionary Monday in a joint conference session with Wendy Clark, SVP, Integrated Marketing Communications & Capabilities, The Coca-Cola Company. Together they will discuss Coca-Cola's global integrated campaign for the London 2012 Olympic Games, Move to the Beat. Coca-Cola is partnering with Ronson to create a unique sound for the brand. The output includes a musical anthem, a TV documentary and a series of web videos, designed to engage and inspire fans of both artist and brand.

German artist, DJ and producer Paul van Dyk, head of Paul van Dyk GmbH/VANDIT Records, will be joined on stage by American cellist Zoe Keating to discuss how artists can take advantage of numerous digital opportunities and channels to directly connect and engage with their fans, market their brand and generate new revenue streams.
