Film Armada is proud to announce its selection as the Official Streaming Partner of the 50th New York Film Festival's Views from the Avant-Garde presented by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and the roster of films that will run on the website from October 9 to October 14.

Films include: "Point de Gaze" by Jodie Mack; "Foxfur" by Damon Packard; "Audition" by Karen Yasinsky; "Tension Building" by Ericka Beckman; "Dragonflies with Birds and Snakes" by Wolfgang Lehmann; "Bloom" by Scott Stark; and "Across and Down" by Lori Felker.

"We are delighted to be working with the prestigious New York Film Festival and to be able to introduce so many of their incredible films to a global audience," said Alla Bronskaya, Film Armada co-founder.

"We have an incredible selection of films this year, and, thanks to our streaming partnership with Film Armada, we can now share them with film fans everywhere," said Gavin Smith, curator of Views from the Avant-Garde. "Film Armada is allowing us to take the festival beyond the theater and into the homes of people who appreciate avant-garde cinema but are not in New York City. This extension of the festival is a tremendous benefit to all of us and we look forward to a long-lasting relationship with Film Armada."

Film Armada provides unique and significant benefits for both filmmakers and film fans. For filmmakers, Film Armada offers the opportunity to showcase their work beyond festivals alongside other curated films, find a global audience, and make a profit, all while retaining full rights to their films. Additionally, filmmakers can deepen their industry footprint by building profiles, engaging with fans, and raising donations for specific projects.

In turn, the site offers film fans worldwide a destination to discover quality new feature, short and documentary films, and web series; be guided by curators; read reviews; participate in discussions; cast their votes for their favorite films; and get an insider's seat at industry events.

Film Armada is now accepting submissions of feature, short and documentary films, and web series for consideration in their Spring 2013 Catalogue.
