UBejani, which means black rhino in Zulu, is a whimsical adventure about a retired American cop who, through a quirk of fate, starts a new career as a bodyguard in Africa. Written and directed by Wayne Crawford, the film stars William Katt (Greatest American Hero) and former Miss South Africa and real life conservationist Diana Tilden-Davis.

According to Crawford whose other credits include "Valley Girl", "Night of the Comet" and "Jake Speed", when we originally made "U'Bejani" it was a festival hit, was shown widely in Europe, but got very little exposure in the United States. This is its dvd premiere. Its more than a movie. With all the animal extra features, its also an education. A film that entertains and informs actually helping to finance real life conservation projectsI cant think of anything better. Entertainment with a conservation purpose, thats what Im interested in and so is Salem Creek Productions.

The Special Edition UBejani dvd is recommended family entertainment by The Dove Foundation. Its available now.
