At NAB 2013, in Las Vegas, Nevada, StudentFilmmakers Magazine drops by the F&V (www.fvlighting.com) exhibit booth C11739.

F&V exhibited a variety of their great lighting solutions, including LED video lights, LED light panels, and more.

F&V's R-300 LED Ring Light features an all-new sleek and compact design, 300 pure-color power LEDs, magnetic filters, and enough light output to compete with your 1×1 light panel. The R-300 features 300 daylight-balanced LEDs which produce upwards of 1950 Lux @ 1-meter. With this output, the ring light is equivalent in power to a conventional 1×1 light panel. The R-300 comes packaged with an L-shaped support bracket. The bracket has a 1/4" -20 thumb screw to mount your camera behind the light. The bottom portion of the bracket allows for the option of attaching a hand grip, or even to mount the system on a light stand. This is a simple, compact solution for on-the-go filming. The R-300 can even be mounted on top of your camera via a ball head. The R-300 has a 1/4" -20 female thread-in on its underside. As is common with many of F&V LED lights, the R-300 also features magnetic filters. It comes packaged with a Tungsten Filter and our Frost Diffusion Filter.
