Eye Candy, Inc. Hires New York Composer & Sound Designer Nicholas Gati

Eye Candy™, Houston’s premier post and mastering studio for digital cinema, increases their core staff with the addition of an in-house composer and sound designer.

Nicholas Gati, a composer & sound designer originally from New York, holds a Bachelors Degree in Music Composition from Five Towns College and received the Music Composition Award upon graduation. He has also studied privately with composers from The Juilliard School, The Shepherd School of Music, and The University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Gati has composed music, produced the foley and sound design, and mastered the final mix for various films, industrial films, commercials, PSA’s, podcasts, musicals, websites and concerts. Recently, he has completed the 5.1 surround sound mastering and re-mix of the short film “The CareTaker” by William Collins. As a guitarist and pianist, Gati has won multiple competitions and has performed at venues such as The Gramercy Theater, The Agora Theater, The Chance Theater, The Patchogue Theater, The Dix Hills Performing Arts Center and The Heckscher Museum of Art.
