Entravision has purchased GY-HM650 and GY-HM150 cameras for ENG, GY-HM750 cameras for production, and GY-HM790 cameras for studio use. To date, the company has purchased cameras that have been deployed to stations in 15 markets. "We are very pleased that Entravision is moving toward HD production with JVC cameras, which are known for their outstanding picture quality and reliability in the field," said Lawrence Librach, vice president of broadcast & public sector, JVC Professional Products. "JVC offers a number of affordable cameras designed to fit the various needs of broadcasters regardless of market size, and our use of non-proprietary SDHC and SDXC media cards helps keep operating costs low.
