(Dallas, TX) - �I am Gabriel�, just released on DVD, features Elise Baughman in the female leading role as Ellen Murphy � starring opposite Dean Cain, John Schneider, Gavin Casalegno, and Carey Scott. The film was directed by Mike Norris, son of Chuck Norris. The faith-based movie takes place in Promise, Texas, and is a Heavens Promise production in association with 2nd Fiddle Entertainment. EchoLight Studios is distributing the film.

�I am Gabriel� is a story of miracles, hope, and the power of prayer. The faith-based movie takes place in Promise, Texas, where for ten years the town has known nothing but one curse after another--leaving the town's people full of despair. A couple, Ellen (played by Baughman) and Joe Murphy (played by Scott), find a boy named Gabe (played by Casalegno) walking along a dusty road--alone in the middle of nowhere. Little did anyone know that he would be the answer to the community�s prayers.

�This film provided me an opportunity to flex new creative muscles as an actor. It was inspiring to be part of a film with such a great message�and with such a wonderful team creating it.�

After completion of principal photography, Baughman also starred in the award-winning independent film �Static� where she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress; and has been named as part of IMDb�s list of �The 20 Best Texas Actors of 2012�.
