On July 13, 2013, Eat|See|Hear will show Elf, starring Will Ferrell, at Paul Revere Middle School as part of a Christmas-in-July-themed outdoor movie event in Brentwood, CA. This event will feature holiday decorations, a Christmas tree and a tropical Santa Claus. Event planners will also be holding a canned food drive and taking donations for the Best Friends Animal Society. This is the first of what will become an annual event, as part of the summer movie series as a whole.

In addition to the special features of this particular event, attendees will also have the chance to enjoy live music and food trucks, which are a part of every Eat|See|Hear event. The following food trucks will be at the Brentwood movie: Me So Hungry, Belly Bombz, Jogasaki Sushi Burrito, The Greasy Weiner, Dosa Truck, Coolhaus, Brasil Kiss and My Delight Cupcakery.

"This is an extra-special event," says Sharon Sperber, Co-owner of Eat|See|Hear. "Not only will we have the usual live, local music and great food trucks, but we will also get to play with the idea of Christmas in July and everything that comes with that. Plus, we will provide people with the opportunity to contribute to some wonderful charities."

Elf is a comedy starring Will Ferrell as a human brought up as an elf at the North Pole. The film chronicles the efforts of Buddy (Ferrell) as he travels to New York to find his birth father. This holiday comedy also stars Zooey Deschanel, who plays the part of Buddy’s friend and love interest.

Tickets to this event can be purchased at eventbrite.com. General admission tickets are $10, premium seating popchips-sponsored Fashionably Late tickets are $20 and kids’ general admission tickets are $8. Doors for the event open at 5:30 p.m., the band plays at 7, and the movie starts at 8:30.

Eat|See|Hear is LA’s premier outdoor movie, food truck and live music series that brings an evening of fun to Los Angeles-area venues each summer. The second annual series is presented by SHOWTIME, featuring up and coming bands from the local music scene, the hottest food trucks and the only 3-story high, 52-foot wide inflatable movie screen west of the Mississippi with the highest quality HD-projection and digital surround sound. The Eat|See|Hear series promises an enjoyable movie-going experience for everyone. Eat|See|Hear is produced through a collaboration between LA-based Trailhead Marketing, Inc. and Hollywood Outdoor Movies.
