Kate Barker-Froyland ('11 SOA) is set to direct Song One, an upcoming film from Barker-Froyland's original script. Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway will co-produce and star in the film.

Song One revolves around the love story between an archeologist and a rock star.

Shooting will begin this Fall with Worldview Entertainment (The Immigrant, Blood Ties, Jimmy P.) financing and producing the film.
