The National Association of Broadcastors Convention in Las Vegas is going strong, and today's the start of the Broadcast Educators Association (BEA) convention which runs in conjunction with the NAB. "Bone Creek" has won the Award of Excellence by the BEA, and Carolina Collaborations is very excited and honored to receive this award.

Also, this news from Ruby Crawford, the young actress that played Nainsi Moon in Carolina Collaboration's "Scripture Cake: A Southern Cuisine Movie." Ruby has finished a long run in "The Color Purple" on Broadway and has been cast as "young Nala" in "The Lion King." She's been working hard on rehearsals since mid-March to hit the opening of May 15. If you head out to Las Vegas, be sure you take in this extraordinary play and this extraordinary actress from North Carolina.
