(Boyds, MD) Self-published author Melissa Foster has beaten the odds. Debut novel, Megan's Way (2009, Outskirts Press) is being adapted for film, summer 2011, Director Director Wendy Crouse, Dream Real Pictures.

Foster is the Founder of The Women's Nest, a free social and support community for women. Foster is taking part in a summer-long virtual blog tour to re-promote Megan's Way, and her latest release, Chasing Amanda.
