This Month’s Live Training Event: Advanced Avid FX 6 with Kevin McAuliffe
Perfectly timed with the new Avid FX 6.3 release, Toronto-based Avid editor, Kevin P. McAuliffe, will be demonstrating the following features in Avid Media Composer:
- Clone Paint - Use the paint tool and the Optical Stabilizer to clone one portion of a clip onto another portion.
- Image Paint - Use an image hose to spray paint images along a paint path.
- Paint On Mattes - Create a more believable composite by painting directly on the matte.
- EPS Import and Extrusion - Import a vector EPS file, extrude the vector file to create a 3D Object, and animate the 3D Object in 3D space.
- Raster to Vector Conversion - Convert a raster tiff file into a vector file, and extrude the vector file into a 3D Object animated in 3D space.
