(Burbank, CA)--2009 is a year of transformation for the well-known industry trade show and conference HD EXPO, as it enters the �Createasphere� - an expansion from a brand that supported the adoption of a single technology to an organization that champions the broader needs and interests of the content creation world. A multi-faceted organization that dynamically answers the needs and questions of the community, Createasphere includes a respected education division (Createasphere/LEARN), highly regarded exhibitions and conferences (Createasphere/EXPLORE), virtual resource offerings (Createasphere/ACCESS), and a membership organization (Createasphere /CONNECT). Returning for its fifth year in a row, the event will present a full day of exhibition and education at the Navy Pier on Thursday, June 11th, 2009.

Createasphere/EXPLORE will feature the industry�s top manufacturers unveiling the latest tools and information for content creators. Hot-from-NAB products as well as post-NAB announcements and news are set for the show floor from manufacturers and technology companies. Confirmed exhibitors include AJA (Best of Show Winner at NAB), Canon, Panasonic, JVC, JMR, and IDX to name but a few. Known for its powerful, free �Intensives,� Createasphere/EXPLORE will present an extensive offering of the in-depth sessions, some new to the Midwest region. Intensives include EXTREME RED: Deck Out the Camera for Outrageous Results. EXTREME RED features top manufacturers and experts including digital imaging technicians, cinematographers (David Kellner) and equipment experts who discuss how to build the most dynamic camera set up for a variety of productions. Panasonic will present two Intensives, one In-Booth (The AG-HPX300 with Panasonic Product Line Manager and recognized expert Jan Crittenden) and an Intensive focusing on the New P2Varicam 3700. MacProfessionals will present a Digital Workflow/Asset management Intensive for HD and Film. June 11th wraps with a cocktail reception hosted by AJA and The Chicago Convergence.
