�There isn�t sport without tv, there isn�t tv without sport� will be the main topic of �Sport Movies & TV 2009 - 27th Milano International FICTS Festival�, a event dedicated in particular to sport television, that means pursue the knowledge and the divulgation of cine-television sports videos that contribute to develop and to increase the cultural and artistic trends of worldwide Television (from Al-Jazeera to the CCTV - China, from BBC to Eurosport, from RAI to ESPN, etc.).

On May 5th, the Executive Committee of FICTS (F�d�ration Internationale Cin�ma T�l�vision Sportifs, joined with 102 Countries) recognized by IOC (International Olympic Committee), has decided that the World-wide Final of 14 phases of the International Circuit of the �World FICTS Challenge�, that carried out in the 5 Continents, will take place to Palazzo Giureconsulti (Piazza Mercanti, 2) to Milan from October 30th to November 4th 2009.

A important international showcase, a privileged place for meeting for authors, media, television broadcastings, operating, important world-wide Networks, radio, houses of production, major, producers, directors, filmmakers, champions, Olympic Committees and Sports Federations, advertising and integrated communication agencies that will illustrate the universe of sport television through documentaries, spot, reportages, fictions, cartoons in one of the 6 competitive sections:

1) Olympic Values
2) Documentary
3) Tv Shows and New Technologies
4) Sport & Society
5) Movies
6) Sport Adverts

A real one world-wide event of field that include 180 Projections, 8 Meeting, 8 Encounters, 3 Workshops, 2 Exhibitions, 9 Side Events, 4 Press Conferences and 30 Awards with international level guests, with the participation of 230 journalists that will fix a high media interest. The event, that will be a global Convention of cine-television sports section also towards �EXPO 2015�, will offer to the public, through unpublished images, a complete view on the social values, agonistic, cultural aspects of sport.

The �Pirelli Skyscraper� will accommodate the �Opening Ceremony� of the Festival on October 30th while to Palazzo Marino will take place the �Award Ceremony� on November 4th.
