The Edgewise Media Film and Video Shorts 2008 Awards will recognize and honor the top three winners by awarding 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place prizes. The top three awards recipients will also be featured in StudentFilmmakers Magazine.

Philosophy: The goal of the Edgewise Media Film and Video Shorts 2008 Awards is to help facilitate the sharing of ideas and techniques within the independent and student filmmaker community and to showcase the talents of filmmakers by providing them with a platform in the public to advance their careers.
